Lana and her family flourish boldly once again in their Michelle crafted Valentino wardrobe.

Lana Del Rey was invited to the Valentino Spring 2026 Ready-To-Wear this past week in Paris, accompanied by her husband, Jeremy Dufrene, and sister, Caroline Grant, reigniting a long-time friendship between Lana and Alessandro Michelle
Lana Del Rey stepped out wearing a floor-length grey draped chiffon gown with brown fur sleeve detailing from the Avant Les D’buts Spring 2025 collection. In attendance at the Paris show Lana’s sister, Caroline, and husband, Jeremy, were also wearing Valentino. Michelle and Del Rey have worked together before, and Michelle has stated Lana has always been an artistic muse for his work. At the Met Gala in May 2025, Lana was styled in a deep brown drop waist gown with her iconic alligator hair piece, originating from Michelles Vertigineux collection.

Michelle’s design language is as unique as his relationship with Del Rey. Prior to designing for Valentino, Michelle worked as the Creative Director for Gucci from January 2015 until November 2022. After seven years, Michelle’s interest in maximalism had grown and Gucci’s parent company, Kering, decided to release Michelle due to his growing interest. There were questions about whether Michelle could retain Gucci’s reputation with his style. When asked about the parting, Michelle remains grateful,
“There are times when path’s part ways because of the different perspectives each one of us may have” (Alessandro Michelle).

Different visions guided the parting; however, Michelle has sent well wishes to Gucci for their future endeavors and stated that this opportunity was meaningful and he was thankful to participate.

Inflated, modern silhouettes and the unity of all the brand’s characteristics.

adidas presented their, “POWER OF THREE,” catwalk this past month at Shanghai Fashion Week in Shanghai, China, as a 20th anniversary celebration of adidas’ Creation Center. The POWER OF THREE signifies the multi-cultural use of the brand in music, street culture, and film. Hosting the event here is notable to adidas due to their recent advancements in the Chinese market. With more than 100 looks, the show was lit up with street energy, eastern sounds, and culture to celebrate modern sport.
Aside from their renowned footwear, this show presented a combination of all the brand’s peaks created by the imaginative local artists. This collection was about collaborating the classic and timeless three-stripe with the modern, chic takes on street style. Vintage features embrace the overall collection with collars, cardigans, and sharp shoulders adorning the runway. Such features are styled with adidas’ avant-garde athleisure, like their gloves and vests, to fabricate a special and polished look. The model’s accessories touched base on the vintage aspects as well.

Flat, wrestler style shoes have been in fashion for some time, a look which adidas has mastered. Highlighted in this show are the striking, lavish outfit designs with these shoes that bring a pleasant mystery to the observer. Including trench coats and hats manifests a more dapper side. Their plush athletic shoes were showcased as well with cargo shorts and large, fashionable backpacks, and fitted gloves to stay warm and look good.
What was remarkable about this show was the new shopping system adidas implemented in their fashion shows. During and after the show, viewers were allowed to shop and purchase clothing they had just seen on the catwalk models. This was a first-time operation from adidas and showed great success.

In addition to shopping at the fashion show, three days after the show, October 17-19, PR and fashion influences and celebrities were invited to attend and shop the adidas collection and view limited edition collaborations and archives at the adidas fashion hub, also referred to as the adidas museum.
The “POWER OF THREE,” presented the use of the timeless adidas three-stripe design in collaboration with the growing interest in street style. adidas has styled their iconic athleisure in an upscale way to branch out into different styles and celebrate the groundbreaking progression in China. A large show included local Shanghai artists as well to honor the art and street style China knows inside and out.
